MY VIDEOS
Within this module we got to make two creative music videos and two tutorial videos. I really enjoyed choreographing and creating these videos so here they are with a little bit of information to explain them! Hope you enjoy them!
VIDEO 1- ALICE IN LONDERLAND
This video is our interpretation on the darker meanings of 'Alice In Wonderland' . The original story suggests Alice is taken into a magical,opposite world where everything is 'mad'. She gets here by eating and drinking substances that say 'eat me' and 'drink me' on them which in return enables her to become really small so she can fit through the little door into 'wonderland'. Our preception of this is that she is actually taking drugs and drinking alcohol therefore this 'mad wonderland' is her hallucinations.
VIDEO 2- TRAPPED
In this video we were asked to use a prop so we decided to use a ballet barre inspired by lady gaga's 'telephone'. This dance is about the prostitutes in amsterdam who are seen behind glass for people to pay money and have sex with. We used the barre to represent the glass and being 'trapped' behind it. However, the title 'trapped' also suggests that these prostitutes have no way of getting out of unwanted sex or their jobs because they need money.
